SUPPORT SUPERVALUE GROCERY WORKERS IN MONTANA:
For eleven months workers for the Supervalue owned Albertsons chain in Montana have been negotiating with the company, and the company has yet to budge in its refusal to grant them the health care benefits and wage increases that they desreve- increases such as those recently granted to Supervalue employees in California. Through six years and two contracts the Montana grocery workers have received a mere 40 cent per hour wage increase, far below the rate of inflation. The United Food and Commercial Workers' Union is asking it supporters to email Supervalue CEO Jeffrey Noddle to demand that he treat his workers with respect.
