The Harper Index has an interesting new article on how Conservative policy towards health and technology issues is driven by ideology rather than science. From the closing down of the Vancouver safe injection site, through the cancellation of the federal prison safe-tattoo program to politically stacking appointments to Canada's reproduction technology board there is a clear trend to putting ideological issues as a priority over those of health.
