OTTAWA: PGA DISRUPTS VANOC EVENT:

Last Wednesday everything seemed to be going quite well for the Vancouver Olympic Committee and their unveiling of an "Olympic Countdown Clock " in Ottawa. All until, that is, about 25 people from the People's Global Action Group showed upand enetered the event with banners and chanting "No Olympics on stolen native land!" and "Occupation anywhere, resistance everywhere !". Sorta spolied the whole party. The group made their way to the front of the stage where they continued giving anti-Olympic speeches. no arrests were made, and the event dissolved in chaos.
