Over the past few weeks the online campaign generated by Labour Start in support of jailed Iranian trade unionists has gathered 3,300 messages of protest to the Iranian government. In recent days 11 workers whose only crime was to participate in a may day event were sentenced to huge monetary fines and ten lashes each. Labour Start is asking for all of you to redouble your efforts to support union activists in Iran.
