THE WATER OF LIFE BENEFIT:

Coming up on Friday, November 19, at the Rudolf Rocker Cultural Centre, Third Floor 91 Albert St.. A Benefit for the Boreal Action Project so they can raise money for their share of the A-Zone Co-op. Yes, that is the project to purchase the premises at 91 Albert Street via a member owned cooperative.

Join us for art; music; speakers and more and help us raise money for a member share in the A-Zone collective, home of our new office! Confirmed artists are: James Hogaboam, paintings and photos of Lake Winnipeg; Thomas Fricke, photographs from Lake Winnipeg, Hecla and more. His work is in last month's Canadian Geographic, has been in the Globe and Mail and the New York Times; Roger Rempel- aerial photos of the east side of Lake Winnipeg running up to Poplar River, taken from a float plane in June and have never been shown publicly: soap stone carvings by Michael ManyEagles: Music by Twin, with Dave Fort and company speaking on their floating armada last summer and the upcoming California armada; Speakers Dave Nickarz of the Sea Shepards. invited guests include Beth Martens for kirtan and the Council of Canadians.
