Molly has to admit that she gets a certain uneasy feeling from the fact that the following is based on the work of an Irish police officer. Still, I cannot discount the good intentions behind it. From the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) here's the announcement of the upcoming exhibition.
Violence Against Women Poster Exhibition:
WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Exhibit of the ‘Violence Against Women Poster Exhibition’ will be opened next Monday, November 3rd.

The posters are the collection of Irish police officer Colm Dempsey. Note attached background and go to for more information on the Exhibit.

- 1:00 pm – Genesis House Workshop on Dating Violence
- 6:00 pm – Winnipeg Labour Choir and the North End Women’s Resource Centre Drumming Group will perform.
