Molly has previously mentioned the upcoming meeting of the Anarchist Discussion Group of Ottawa that will discuss anarchism and organization. The meeting will take place Sunday, June 8, and will feature more than one source reading. Here's the latest announcement.
Ottawa, Anarchists Get Organized
Sunday, June 8 at 1:30 pm -- Jack Purcell Community Centre 320 Jack Purcell Lane off Elgin near Gilmour Pay What You Can Wheelchair Accessible Child-friendly.
We will discuss the question, "What does a successful organization and/or movement look like?" We will address theoretical considerations while also looking at their application to the groups we are personally involved with. We will be discussing vision, strategy, and the tools required for us to be effective in radical community organizing.

The Anarchist Discussion Group meets every second Sunday afternoon. We are local Ottawa activists and community members who share an anti-authoritarian and anti-capitalist viewpoint. We are involved in diverse struggles and believe in the importance of maintaining a link between theory and practice. Discussions are based on readings, presentations or short films. If there are readings, they are optional and will be summarized at the beginning of the discussion.
The Anarchist Discussion Group is affiliated with Common Cause Ottawa.Contact:
