INTERNATIONAL PEACE FESTIVAL- ORGANIZERS NEEDED:

For 26 years the International Peace Festival, held in late June at the International Peace Gardens, has been a Winnipeg tradition. The recent organizers have been the Neufeld family (http://ofek.com/roomtogrow ) , but they cannot organize this year and are seeking someone else to take on this important events.

This event is important and usually draws about 40 people. It starts Friday evening with a potluck dinner, the a midnight walk to the Peace Towers. the rest of the event is workshops and fun. Sustainability, social justice and peace are the key themes- so anything within that can be accommodated.
