BURMA:
SECOND DAY OF GLOBAL DEMONSTRATIONS AGAINST REPRESSION:
As the Burmese military junta continues its vicious crackdown on democratic dissent in that country supporters of the Burmese people worldwide continue to demonstrate demanding an end to the attacks on the protesters, a release of all political prisoners and for the UN to take strong action now. This Saturday, October 6th, Amnesty International and other organization such as the Australian Confederation of Trade Unions. will be organizing protests across the world.
