WORLD WATER DAY:

Today is World Water Day. this was originally established by an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. The first "year" was in 1995 when the theme was 'Women and Water' . Since then every year has featured a theme on the intersection between water and society.
