METIS HOMECOMING FESTIVAL:
Well it's Earth Day, and I'm busy ignoring the whole corporate lovefest. Still there at least some other interesting things happening today in the Peg. Tonight at Tech Voc High School the Metis Culture and Heritage Resource Centre will be holding their Metis Festival Homecoming 2010. Great music. Good times. Atten if you can. here's the promo.

at Tec Voc High School Theatre, 1555 Wall Street, on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 7:30pm - 9:30pm.

This event is hosted by Honourable Yvon Dumont and features fiddling with Ray St. Germain and various Metis Entertainers from jigging, square dancing, to choir, history, craft's tables, silent auction, bannock and tea.

Tickets are $15 each. Proceeds go towards the Metis Culture and Heritage Resource Centre focusing on cultural and educational programming. You can pick up your tickets at the following locations:
