APPEAL FROM NEW ZEALAND UNION;

The SFWU, a New Zealand union representing airline workers, mostly in the catering and cleaning industry(Molly Note:The SFWU is a progressive multiracial union that has a number of other solidarity campaigns that readers from New Zealand might find of interest) has issued an appeal for online solidarity in their dispute with Air New Zealand. The company plans to contract out almost 2,000 jobs so as to reduce the representation of unionized workers in their business.
