Chalk 4 Peace is a global event. It happens in cities all across this planet of ours on 4 different continents and spreads to more and more cities every year.

There's an interesting, novel and fun protest coming up at the end of this month here in Winnipeg. I speak of the 'Chalk for Peace' events on Saturday, August 28 down at Vimy Ridge Park. Rather than marching up and down and at the end of it listening to boring political speeches from the 'official left' people are invited to express their individual creativity using the sidewalks as a canvas.
