Some truckers ARE real idiots). At Slave Lake one of the weighscale cops quit his job after his car was covered with shit and mud. (Hmmm ...)

When I come back from the western edge of the prairies I am almost RELIEVED to be back in Saskatchewan ... as much as that is hard to imagine. At night over there I had nothing to do but watch television in some motel. Their cable TV is even worse than Regina and the restaurants are nothing to crow about with one or two exceptions. I am CERTAINLY not surprised that the general level of violence in Canada moves upward as you progress from east to west. I've been in the some of poorest areas of Montreal, biker territory, and I didn't feel as scared as in Regina ... and most of Alberta is just like this rathole on a bigger scale. It's hard to imagine a city more fundamentally MINDLESS than Red Deer!!Wernerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17213034395981099737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32250954.post-57141297200864266062008-06-29T18:01:00.000-07:002008-06-29T18:01:00.000-07:00Well that's a thought. Back when I used to live in Saskatchewan we joked about Albert's "kill zone" for rats, where ant rat found wandering in from the east had to cross an extermination zone first. The problem was that they failed to put such a zone in place at their southern border with the USA. We used to say that we should reciprocate and establish a kill zone for some miles into Saskatchewan where any Albertan would be shot on sight. All well, I'm much milder than I was in my younger days, and one province further east.mollymewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10608757779720671118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32250954.post-69627496214298581292008-06-29T17:42:00.000-07:002008-06-29T17:42:00.000-07:00Manitobanarchism?
